Our small family residential Electrical and HVAC company is looking to hire an *experienced* residential electrician to run residential electrical repairs Monday-Friday. He must have previous residential electrical training/experience, be good with customers, and be drug and alcohol free while on the job.
Job Details:
- The electrician I hire will drive a fully stocked Ford Transit 250 and which he can take home. All required materials and many required tools will be stocked at all times. He will run 2-3 electrical service calls Monday-Friday, from the hours of 9 AM-5 PM. Weekly guaranteed minimum pay is $700. This means that even if a week is slow and not enough hours are earned, he will still receive $700 (no matter what!).
Payment Terms:
- The electrician I hire will start at $20/hr until he is riding in the van on his own, after which point he will be bumped up to $24/hr.
- On slow weeks, he will receive a minimum of $700 per week regardless if he didn’t work 40 hours.
- He will have the opportunity to upsell customers additional services for 17% commissions. Additional services includes air conditioners, generators, landscape lighting, lighting, AC maintenance packages, etc. He will have an entire list of additional services he can sell the customer. In the case of an upsell, he will receive 7% (sale) + 10% (install), for a total of 17% job value.
- The electrician will be PAID WEEKLY (every Friday), both his hourly pay and commission earnings.
- If the electrician is required to work a weekend emergency call he will receive double time pay.

**We are NOT looking to train someone in residential repairs.** All applicants must have experience in residential diagnosis, installing wiring, breakers, switches (single pole/3-way), outlets, panels, meters, fans and lighting. Do not ask if we offer apprenticeship programs!
