Air compressor and tools--anyone interested in these?:
Item 1) Campbell Hausfeld compact portable air compressor and nailer gun kit. Compressor Model FP209501, nail gun model SB50 4000, originally sold as a kit at Lowes for $99, and $59 on clearance back in the day. 2 gallon (two 1 gallon stacked tanks), 110 max psi, oil-free motor, 6 ft power cord. Label says made in Sept 2010, and these are long out of production. Runs fine in my tests, pumped up and stopped, and cut back on when it should. Comes with a small air pistol and tire inflator chuck. Took 3.5 minutes to get to full pressure, that may vary, dials said about 116 psi. This is for light duty use, not for constant blowing or running tools constantly. Comes back on anywhere from 65 psi to 80 psi, takes a minute or 2 to get back to 110, but you don't have to wait for that if you don't need to. Good for most car tires, bikes, balls, inflatable mattresses etc., but you may need to wait for a pressure buildup before you're done. Weighs 15 lbs, has supposed 25 ft coil hose, but 15 ft is about all you can stretch it comfortably, and many people opt for buying a rubber hose. No leaks I could hear, but the tire chuck does leak a bit at the coupler.
Nail gun only had a couple nails in it, but shot them into a piece of wood well. Uses 3/8" to 2" nails, or 1/4" to 1.5" staples. You can bring some nails to test it if you want. Good for little stuff like nailing in baseboards or making birdhouses or crafts, but not for roofing or hard wood floor installation etc.. Sales on the bay for $48-$90 without the nailer or hose! Get this kit for only...$40
Item 2) Rodac 1/2" impact wrench, model 606. Made in USA. Rodac made good stuff, and these 2 impact wrenches are original company Rodacs, not the 1984-up companies. Has forward/reverse, adjustable air pressure knob, standard 1/4" male connector. All metal body. Don't know the max torque, but it's a pretty heavy duty wrench. If you owned 1 before and would like another, here you go...REDUCED, now...$25
Item 3) Rodac 3/8" compact impact wrench with right angle attachment. Model 603. Made in Japan. Has forward/reverse lever, top "butterfly" lever, standard 1/4" male connector plug that swivels, air adjustment knob. Right angle attachment will swivel even when clamped on, so you can get in those places a bigger unit can't. Leaks some air at some angles at the seal on the air adjustment knob, probably needs a new o-ring. REDUCED, now...$20
Item 4) National Detroit Inc dual action disc sander/polisher. Made in USA, Rockford, Ill. Patent # 2794303, serial #53634. 4.75" disc. This may be from the late '60s, or at least the 70s. Adjustable air speed/flow lever. From my recollection it's had the bearing replaced once, way back when, don't know how much time was put on it after that. You'll want a new pad too, it's breaking down around the edges, but still usable. This is a glue-on style for the sandpaper discs. No inlet plug, takes standard 1/4", cheap to buy. These are great little sanders and will get the job done much faster than most cordless ones. Has paint and wear on the handle, not worth the effort for me to clean off. Some e**y sellers seem to think these are collectible or something, I've seen prices from $50 for ones that look as used as mine, up to insane prices, but for much nicer looking ones from the same era. REDUCED, now...$25
Item 5) Craftsman heavy duty soldering gun. In box, model 954046. 230/150w dual heat, used by squeezing the trigger for low or high. Has 2 of the 3 original tips (no tile-cutting tip), tube of rosin core solder, soldering aid tool, instruction sheet. Heats in 12 seconds, has front light, 6 ft power cord. Tested, works well. Shows little signs of use. Power cord got some glue on it at some point and was stuck to the styrofoam in the box, so some of it has bits of styrofoam on it. Just...$25
Item 6) 4 ft folding wooden step ladder. Keller model W-4 Type III, 200 lb duty rating, ANSI approved. 3 regular steps, but highest approved standing level is the 2nd step at 1'1". 3rd step is about 24" up. Ladder is in very good shape and stable, still has all the stickers. Folding shelf works fine, it's a two board top, so not 1 solid board. A little paint splatter on it, as usual, bit of now treated surface rust on the top galvanized braces. Why do I see people on e**y, etsy etc. trying to sell these for 'home decor' purposes at all kinds of high prices ($25-$90+ for sometimes crappy looking little 2 steps, $70+ to hundreds for 4-5 footers?) with sometimes insane shipping charges ($460+?!)? And you're supposed to say 'don't use it to climb on' these days, apparently, and use at your own risk, so there, I've said it. You can have this lovely vintage piece for a 'normal elsewhere' price and resell it to some decor sucker, for only...$30
Item #7) 2 ft wooden folding step ladder. Werner model W130-4, type III, 200 lbs duty rating. Highest standing level 1 ft, 10". Very good condition, stands stable. Has most of the stickers. Has the appropriate amount of paint here and there for that 'vintage shabby chic look' for all you farmhouse deco people using these for plant stands. I thought the prices for the 4 ft ladder on e**y were nuts, but OMG, the 2 ft ones are crazy for the size!! With shipping, people are paying at least $40 up to $60-70 and higher for newer looking AND paint splattered ones. These are not rare at all, why the wide price range? As Seinfeld would say, "Who ARE these people?" And do any live here? Hello Interior Designers! Buy mine and sell it on e**y and make money, I don't do e**y. Steal it for...$20
Item 8) Makita Max Efficiency 7 1/4" circular saw blade. Unused, in package. Carbide tipped framing blade, 24T, 5/8" arbor. Part #Bi61656. Ultra thin kerf. $11.61 at HD, how about...$6
Item 9) MSA V-Gard hard hat. Anyone out there need a hard hat cheap? I've picked up an MSA V-Gard full brim white polyethylene shell helmet. Medium, fits head sizes 6.5 to 8. Non-vented. 4-point suspension with adjustable nylon crown straps, ratchet wheel adjust for tightening, and a slot on each side for accessories. Ratchet wheel works fine. Complies with ANSI Z89.1, 2014, Type 1 Class E & G Standards. Dated May 2020. Suspension looks to be in very good shape, no tears, fraying etc., headband/sweatband cushion is also in excellent condition. Shell has normal scratches/scuffs, but no cracks, splits or signs of heavy impact, but don't have any idea if it ever had any decent impacts. Previous owner was an electrician, I think semi-retired, and hat hasn't been used in a year at least. See these new for $23-$38 (same hat, why such a big diff?). How about...$10
PLEASE READ THIS, so you have the needed info to make this easier for everyone:
My ph# is a landline, so can't send or receive texts. LOOK AT THE MAP so you have an idea where I am. Click the "-" sign to zoom out.
I'm fairly easy going, but if you can't check your email or voicemail within 24 hours after you send them, and reply by then, then either A) TELL me that in your FIRST message, or B) don't bother. Tired of waiting for slow people when nearly everyone but me has a smart phone. I now email/call back only 1-2 times, then I give up.
I'm not up till early-ish afternoon, so phone messages and emails will be returned after I'm up, so if you call or email before then, PLEASE START CHECKING YOUR EMAIL (and your junk folders) OR VOICEMAIL IN THE AFTERNOON and reply back that day/evening if possible, ok?
If you have a thick accent, be it American regional or foreign, or you can't write understandable emails, get someone who can to do it for you. You know who you are, and I won't deal with people I can't understand any more.
All calls are screened, so if I don't pick up and you don't leave a message, you won't get called back.
Check with your significant other BEFORE you contact me, as I lose many sales because your other half won't let you buy it. Also, measure where you need something to go so you know if it will fit in your home or vehicle, before you contact me.
If you call for directions and then can't come or change your mind, please be considerate and call again and say so, ok? Tired of so many people 'ghosting'.
