These are full size blue crab traps like commercial crabbers use. They have 4 entrances and a parlor in the top where the crabs will go when they’re ready to leave and once they find their way up there they’re in for good. They will also catch stone crabs but are primarily for blue crabs. They have all stainless hog rings and heavy gauge vinyl coated wire. Main body of trap is 16/12.5 gauge wire.Unlike the type made out of chicken wire these have a door at the top that opens fully to let you get your catch out easier and they’re also more rigid and durable when it comes to shaking out your catch.You are allowed 5 per person and the blue crab endorsement is free and easy .
