Pic 2) Wilson T3000 tennis racket. Vintage '70s. Jimmy Connors and Billie Jean King played with these back in the day. Metal frame, 26.5"L, head is 9.5"W, 11"H. "4 1/2 light" says the sticker. Strings seem very tight, all intact. Grip seems pretty good to me, has use of course, no major problems. Frame has some little rust dots in some of the groove and where head joins the throat frame. No cover. Nice piece of nostalgia for tennis buffs, priced to move for only...$10
Exercise equipment:
Item 1) Escape Your Shape exercise/toning bars. 1999 vintage exercise program for workouts for specific shapes. The $80 kit came with multiple videos and books, but I only have the bars, both in good condition. You can see some videos and the infomercial on youtube, but I didn't find any with the full workouts, but a library or bookstore/thrift store may have them and the books. They're also for sale online, and there's many similar toning bars that will probably have better videos and the same exercises. The bar weighs 4 lbs and is 5' 7" long, and comes in 3 pieces that just click together. It's longer than most other bars of this type. This is for basic toning, Pilates, and to burn calories and not bulk up unless you want to add elastic bands, which most with loop ends should work on it. Kits on e**y are asking $50+, 1 sale of $40 at the time of this posting. Get the bars for...$15 each
Item 2) ThighTek XL thighs/chest/arms exerciser. From Denise Austin, back in like 2000. Unlike the original ThighMaster (still being sold for $69.99!), this offers a bit of variable resistance, but not much. NO BOX, just the unit, you can find videos online to show various exercises. Foam covers have a few little pieces out here and there, doesn't affect anything. Firm those thighs for just...$8
Weights and Dumbbells: Add to your collection or get started on being the next Ah-nold for less than new ones cost: (4) 5 lb cast iron weight plates, 1" diameter hole. Not pretty, but perfectly usable, been treated with Ospho rust converter, so you can paint them if you want...$5 each, or will trade all 4 or some of this other stuff for 2 cast iron 10 lb plates. 14" steel dumbbell bar with spin lock collars. For 1" diameter plates. Rubberized grip. The collars are not made with the inside o-ring like newer ones. Also been treated with Ospho rust converter...$5 Dumbbell neoprene coated weights:
-5 lb is the 1 purple...$4
-3 lbs are the 2 red, and 1st 2 pink on 2nd row...$2.50 ea.
-2 lbs are other 2 pink and green ones. 1 pink has some kind of ink stain as seen...$1.50ea.
Ankle weights: 1st is a pair of Bollinger 1.75 lb ankle weights (so 3.5 lbs total) with velcro straps. 10" long by 2.5" wide, cloth covered...$5 both
-2nd is five 1 lb weights for weighted vests or ankle/arm weights. About 6"x2"...$1 ea, or all 5 for $4.
2 yoga/exercise mats. As new, inherited these recently, don't need more. Both about 70"L x 24"W. I use a 10mm thick one in the bathroom at the sink and toilet, and at the kitchen sink, and cut them up for very cushiony insoles for some shoes. Great standing fatigue mats for the shop/garage floor at the workbench too, nicer than the firm puzzle-piece mats. They really help the feet, elbows and knees when exercising too of course. Easy to cut to any size.
-Top gray one is by Gaiam Essentials, and 10mm (3/8") thick. Ribbed on one side, smooth on the other, comes with carry strap too. 1/2 of what Gaiam wants on WM...$10
-Bottom one is 5mm (1/4") thick, don't know the maker. Same little squares pattern on both sides...$8
PLEASE READ THIS, so you have the needed info to make this easier for everyone:
My ph# is a landline, so can't send or receive texts. LOOK AT THE MAP so you have an idea where I am. Click the "-" sign to zoom out.
I'm fairly easy going, but if you can't check your email or voicemail within 24 hours after you send them, and reply by then, then either A) TELL me that in your FIRST message, or B) don't bother. Tired of waiting for slow people when nearly everyone but me has a smart phone. I now email/call back only 1-2 times, then I give up.
I'm not up till early-ish afternoon, so phone messages and emails will be returned after I'm up, so if you call or email before then, PLEASE START CHECKING YOUR EMAIL (and your junk folders) OR VOICEMAIL IN THE AFTERNOON and reply back that day/evening if possible, ok?
If you have a thick accent, be it American regional or foreign, or you can't write understandable emails, get someone who can to do it for you. You know who you are, and I won't deal with people I can't understand any more.
All calls are screened, so if I don't pick up and you don't leave a message, you won't get called back.
Check with your significant other BEFORE you contact me, as I lose many sales because your other half won't let you buy it. Also, measure where you need something to go so you know if it will fit in your home or vehicle, before you contact me.
If you call for directions and then can't come or change your mind, please be considerate and call again and say so, ok? Tired of so many people 'ghosting'.
