The Resource Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of individuals and property within designated areas. Schedule
Monday-Friday 730 am- 330 pm (school hours)
Duties
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect criminal activity or violations of rules.
Conduct surveillance operations to gather information and evidence related to incidents or suspicious activities.
Respond to emergencies, providing first aid and CPR as necessary until further medical assistance arrives.
Engage in criminal investigations, gathering facts, interviewing witnesses, and preparing detailed reports.
Utilize conflict management skills to de-escalate potentially volatile situations effectively.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary, ensuring compliance with immigration laws and regulations.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
Maintain accurate records of incidents, investigations, and actions taken in report writing.
Provide leadership during critical incidents, guiding team members through established protocols.
Ensure the safety of animals when applicable, demonstrating knowledge in animal handling and care.
Skills
