Beginning Jan. 2026: Fully furnished private guest bedroom & bathroom in 3/2 house (1,190 sq ft) owned by single Christian lady (late-40’s) available for LADY housemate (sorry, no men), with shared living space including screened lanai. Lease for 6 months or more (no short term). No smoking/drugs/foul language allowed. The ideal housemate would be clean, courteous, & work full-time outside of home (though this is not a deal-breaker). We are responsible for our own housekeeping. Walmart, Sam’s Club, post office, pool, grocery stores, bus stop, etc. nearby within 10 min. by car. Bed is an XL (extra-long) twin with a 4-in. pillow top mattress and a 2-in. feather top mattress cover if you wish (super soft). Linens provided or you can use your own. Capped utilities & wifi internet included, but no cable TV (I’ve had previous housemates attach antennas to their window, though). We can collaborate about furniture a little if you'd rather use your own. Storage space possibly available in outdoor shed where previous housemate put her bike & washing machine. Water is highly filtered (soft, bottled water quality) throughout the house. You'll be welcome to use anything in the kitchen (dishes, soap, etc.) within reason of course. Washer & dryer are front-loaders. Street parking or garage rental (for extra fee) available. There's a lake in the tropical backyard where you can watch the birds, turtles, cuddly neighborhood cats, & rarely playful otters. Verified employment & 3 references required prior to move-in. First (prorated at least half a month or according to day of month - whichever is greater) & last month’s rent plus $300 ($400 with pet) security deposit required at move-in. Pets are a possibility to be discussed (but NO dogs). You would be liable for any property damage incurred by your pet. A cat could remain inside if it never goes outside or rips the lanai screen or furniture with its claws. I tend to keep a full, busy schedule so I don't have much time for socialization, am introverted but not antisocial. *IMPORTANT* Rent is approximate & dependent on your lifestyle preferences to be discussed.
