I am a recent CDL A graduate. Having difficulty obtaining a job. Have a clean driving and criminal record. Slightly older (56). I'm alone and don't have any kids at home. Single with no wife or girlfriend. Ive been in the bar and restaurant business for most of my life and have been desperate to get out of it for some time. Ive had a lot of jobs since 2017, but I've left on good terms (2–3-week notice) Almost all of them were bartending gigs. Im desiring over the road. Going to need a few weeks training. CDL school teaches almost nothing but the basics. I did work over the road as a Class B CDL driver from 97-99, transporting product for a microbrewery in Jax . Worked OTR from FL to VA.
