Dexron ULV (Ultra-Low Viscosity) transmission fluid is designed for modern GM and Ford Truck / Car vehicles equipped with 10-speed (and some 9-speed) automatic transmissions to maximize fuel efficiency.
It is the mandatory factory-fill fluid for 2017+ GM trucks/SUVs with 10L80/10L90 transmissions and 2020 2021 2022 2023 + Duramax (3.0L/6.6L) engines.
Key Vehicle Applications:
Chevrolet/GMC: Silverado 1500/2500HD/3500HD, Sierra 1500/2500HD/3500HD, Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, and Cadillac Escalade (2020+ models with 10-speed).
Ford: Select Ford F-150 and Raptor trucks requiring MERCON ULV.
General Application: Any 10-speed automatic transmission explicitly requiring a fluid with ultra-low viscosity specs.
Important Notes:
Not Backward Compatible: Dexron ULV is not compatible with older 6-speed or 8-speed transmissions that require Dexron VI.
Primary Vehicles: It is mainly used in 2017 and newer GM vehicles featuring 10-speed automatic transmissions.
Check Owner's Manual: Always verify if your vehicle requires "Dexron ULV" specifically.
