Nissan Titan Skid Plate Kit for 2016+ models is a complete armor package including all three of our durable aluminum skid plates.
These custom-formed laser-cut panels are manufactured from 5mm thick 5052 aluminum, providing an excellent strength-to-weight ratio when compared to heavy steel panels. To improve off-road performance, Z1's Skid Plate were raised, providing more ground clearance than the factory plastic panels they replace. Additionally, these panels are made from a single solid sheet of aluminum absent of holes or joints. This reinforces its durability and prevents sticks, rocks or other debris from passing through gaps in the panel and damaging pans, transmission cooler lines, fuel lines, or wiring.
To keep installation simple, our engineers developed these panels to be a direct replacement for the original, using all factory mounting locations and including all necessary brackets and hardware. The included engine skid plate provides additional benefits by including a service door to improve accessibility when performing oil changes.
These skid plates are essential for off-road use! From the factory, your Titan comes with no method of protection other than a flimsy plastic panel, and that's only found on Pro-4X models. Impact damage can be catastrophic if the transmission, transfer case, oil pan, or fuel tank are damaged, rendering the truck immobile and creating a risk of fire.
