Would you like your guitar to play, feel and sound better? Can't be without your beloved instrument for weeks while it waits its turn to be repaired in the local shops? Not feeling the love and attention from the big boy shops that do poor setups from guys that are not even happy to see you?
I have been doing guitar repairs for over 25 years. I treat your guitar as if it were my own and address it accordingly.
Getting a setup and intonating your guitar properly will make notes/chords sound more true and accurate and make the guitar easier to play in regards to your fingers and how hard you press to make a chord sound out properly. I can have guitar back to you typically within 1-3 days depending on schedule.....versus all others in area that can take many weeks, if not longer. (Same day service can be done for an extra charge).
Services Offered:
- Restring / Intonate / Set-up / Clean.
- Rewire electronics.
- Level frets, recrown and polish.
- Swap out pickups and modify the jack, switches and
potentiometers.
- Install and set up a new nut from bone, graphite or other
material.
- Build a custom guitar from premium parts.
I work on Acoustics, Mandolins,Electrics, Basses and
most stringed instruments.
Pricing:
- $80 Basic restring/intonate/setup/cleaning. $100 for Floyd Rose, Floating Bridges and 12 strings. Plus strings.
- $150 Install new pickups and electronics. Includes
standard setup, clean, restring and intonate. Does not include parts or strings.
- $150 Install and setup new guitar nuts with
graphite/tusk/bone/corian material. Includes
standard setup, clean, restring and intonate. Does not include parts or strings.
Can add coil splits to most Humbuckers so you can have both Humbucking and Single Coil sounds. I can install momentary "stutter" switches to do machine gun rapid fire of notes. I can to wiring mods such as the "Jimmy Page" or just about anything you could think of.
I buff and polish the frets to a shine and your guitar will look and feel so much better!
I use high quality parts(potentiometers, switches, capacitors and wire).
