This fine vintage 1990s Yamaha "intermediate" alto is a recent emigre' from Japan. It was carefully played for a short while then stored in its OHSC. There are very few signs of use. It is as close to mint condition as any one of these you may find. Even its purple stencil logo is nearly 100% intact. The sax plays easily throughout its range, and this model does have a high F# key.

These altos are very close in sound and feel to Yamaha's professional model 62 which usually sells for over $2,000 in this condition. There are minor differences apart from their not having a lot of engraving.

Comes in its original as-new case, with its mouthpiece, ligature and cap, reeds, cork grease, and a neck strap. It's a complete package with nothing else needed.
