Antique African Large Tribal Kettle Drum - $350 (Sarasota)

Description: Antique large Turkish kettle drum, circa 17th -19th century. The body of the drum is made of formed and hammered iron sheets riveted together with a goat skin top and wrapped in intricately woven rawhide leather lacings. It comes with mallet and custom made iron base stand.
Condition: Excellent the skin is tight and the lacings unbroken. Beautiful sound and tone.
Dimensions: Drum head measure 24” Wide and 14” High. The iron base is 21” tall. The actual total height with drum on base is 24”high.
