Signed Plycraft. The bent wood is ash color, so light. The vinyl is white distressed.
Vintage and NOT in pristine condition: many imperfections in the vinyl, small punctures on arms and through the chair. Some pitting on the metal, needs polished. Crackled finish seat and back. Scratches and discoloration on the wood, some damaged plywood.
This is a vintage replica of the famous Eames Lounge Chair designed by Charles and Ray Eames made in 1956. George Mulhauser designed a line of bent ply for Plycraft who produced Eames-style chairs in the 1960s and 1970s, including the "Mr. Chair" and the "Eames Style Armchair".
