We have had dogs our entire lives and have never found a better-built, higher quality, or better designed dog crate. "Kong" is a highly reputable name in the pet industry. They make good stuff and they stand behind what they make. This crate is no exception. It is sturdy; has 2 gates (front and side) for easy-access; grab-handles for easy transportation; a plastic bottom tray that slides out for cleaning and maintenance. It even has an interior divider panel/partition that allows you to expand the size of your crate as your puppy grows.
If you are looking for a puppy crate to use for house-breaking this one (Kong's "Intermediate" size) should work for any breed/size puppy.
If you are looking for a dog crate for full-time use after house-breaking this crate should be perfect for adult medium-size dogs up to the size of border collies and similar.
