Purchased this generator new from Lowes several years ago and have always kept it in the shed, always started monthly, and ALWAYS used high-test non-ethanol fuel as I do with all my equipment. It got some use during Ian and Milton where it kept us juiced during those outages. Subsequent the storms, the oil was changed with synthetic oil and properly tuned up. It literally starts on the first or second pull every time. It's incredible! But that's because it's been well taken care of and has never ever ever ever tasted corn in its fuel.
Included a 30A wire/connection ready to plug into a house panel.
The Generac XT8000E is an 8,000-watt (running) / 10,000-watt (starting) portable generator designed for emergency home backup, job sites, and recreational use, featuring a 420cc OHV engine, electric start, and a 7.5-gallon fuel tank. It includes a 20-foot cord, foldable handles, and never-flat wheels for mobility.
We just got a Generac whole home standby generator and no longer really need this, although, I am sad to see this go. It's been a life saver and instead of sitting in the shop with a beer, staring at it, enjoying the memories, it's now ready to help someone else out for the next outage.
$700 firm. No trades. I'd rather just keep it for the memories otherwise.
