Job Summary:To prepare and maintain the highest level quality of food and sanitation in a creative way and be up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
Pay $18-$24 hourly
Position Reports To: Owners/Manager
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activities
Approve and “polish” dishes before they reach the customer. Preparing and execution of Dinner Menus, Specials, Special Events
Production of foods following recipes and guidelines for restaurant.
Ensure quality control and consistency of production.
Maintaining organization of food storage, meet sanitation and cleanliness standards.
Follow cleaning schedule for kitchen and storage areas.
Working Guidelines:
Direct contact with all owners, managers, and employees.
Act professionally and can be flexible in a changing environment.
Excellent attendance is required with schedule flexibility determined by business needs.
Pay based on experience plus bonuses
Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
