Ready to be part of a kitchen where you and your experience matters? We are looking to hire a culianarian with passion. Needs to be proficient in both batch cooking and line execution. We are a full service hotel with a banquet room, restaurant, tiki bar and catering. Can you go from cooking banquets right into line service and then flip around into a wine dinner? Can you clean as you go, taste your food, be mentored as well as mentor peer to peer? Responsibilities

Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
Clean up station and take care of leftover food (LDIRT)
Stock inventory appropriately
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Skills

Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
Knife skills, HACCP, sauce work, garnish, sanitation,
Culinary school diploma desired but not require with 3-5yrs of exerience, our Chef loves to teach if your willing to learn!
