Allswell (Waterside) Lakewood Ranch is looking for an experienced and driven Sous Chef to join our culinary team. We’re a busy, high-end gastropub known for refined comfort food, craft cocktails, and a scratch kitchen that blends creativity with consistency.
We’re seeking a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values teamwork and precision, and takes pride in producing elevated food with approachability and style.
What We’re Looking For:
2+ years of sous or lead line experience in an upscale or high-volume kitchen
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Strong organizational habits and attention to detail
Passion for seasonal, ingredient-driven cooking
Commitment to cleanliness, consistency, and collaboration
Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations and service execution
Lead, train, and support the back-of-house team
Assist with ordering, inventory, and prep management
Maintain high culinary and sanitation standards
Collaborate with the Executive Chef on specials and menu development
