Mean Deans Local Kitchen is looking for an experienced line cook to join our scratch kitchen. We are not a heat-and-serve restaurant. We prepare our food from scratch and are looking for someone who takes pride in quality and consistency.
What we're looking for:
* Minimum 3 years of line cook experience
* Experience in a scratch kitchen required
* Strong knife skills and food prep experience
* Ability to accurately measure ingredients and follow recipes
* Experience cooking steaks to proper temperatures
* Able to handle multiple tickets while maintaining quality
* Strong sense of timing and coordination with the rest of the kitchen
* Works clean and stays organized under pressure
* Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
* Dependable and punctual
* Team player with a positive attitude
* Someone who is reliable, takes pride in their work, and wants to be part of building a strong kitchen team.
Schedule
* Full availability required
* Day and night shifts available
* Typical operating schedule is 10:00 AM until approximately 10:00 PM
* Some nights run later depending on business levels
