Current negative with the car:
- the AC does not blow cold (cool air only). I recently replaced the AC expansion valve, AC system recharged (system does not leak). Most likely AC compressor failing (no clutch noise engaging/disengaging when AC is running).
- the paint has some discoloration on the hood.
- the driver seat has a small tear (separation at the seam in the middle of the seat).
The following maintenance was completed by me (I do all repairs and maintenance on my car) during the past year:
- engine tune up including spark plugs replacement (Bosch), engine air filter, cabin air filter, 2 O2 sensor (right bank), catalytic converter (right bank)
- engine valve cover reseal (gasket), vacuum pump seal, valve cover expansion plugs, thermostat, water pump
- secondary air pump, alternator, light & rain sensor
- brake fluid drained/replaced, power steering fluid drained/replaced
- most recent (50 miles ago) front brake pads replacement (Akebono) and front sway bar links. Rear brake pads are 90% life remaining
The car will go 90K miles before requiring any additional maintenance/repair. I prepared this car for my teenage son so it is worry free/dependable.
