I do Need HELP with our Electric-BBQ (Bradenton)

I do Need HELP with our Electric-BBQ: I bought this ELECTRI-CHEF-Safire 16” model. It is a 110V 16A grill and requires a 110V 20A receptacle. $800 a few years ago. It has a funny plug to go in our wall-sockets; one round and two at 90-degrees-ANGLE, instead of two PARALLELS. See pic attached. I got a $1 adapter-plug, angled-to-parallels from Home-Depot, it burned it. What can I do to use this BBQ? I also have a few DEAD-WALL-OUTLETS in our Garage, somehow, they went dead last year. IF You can Re-ACTIVATE them again, you will have more dinero coming. Thank You. I do need tips to CONVERT an outlet in OUR GARDEN, from 15A to 20A.
