Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is the gentle effort to be continuously present with one's experience. This course, originally created by Jon Kabat-Zinn, is designed to guide program participants in the “how” of learning to practice, integrate, and apply mindfulness in everyday lives.
This eight-week course is based on more than three decades of scientific research at medical centers over the world which suggests that training in MBSR can positively impact stress, pain, illness and numerous medical symptoms while living a more full life.
When: Eight Mondays from 4:00pm to 6:00pm starting January 13, 2020.

Who: Donald Schuster, MSW has been trained in MBSR at the University of Massachusetts (UMASS) Medical School and Erica Karp, MSW has practiced meditation and mindfulness for 10 years.
