The Claud Butler Majestic Two was made in 1977 to celebrate the Queen’s Silver Jubilee and was made up to 1985. This item was hand built in the 1980’s in England. The frame is Reynolds 531 tubing. The frame size is 23”/58cm for the Captain or front rider and 22” for the Stoker or rear rider. The paint is very good with a few paint chips. Shifts great through all gears. Very good brakes. Tandem racing was an Olympic sport for several decades. Clad Buttler was a British professional competitive racer in the 1920’s and later started making bikes. The derailleurs are Suntour ARX and Suntour AlpineGTech. The tires are 27” x 1.25”. The rims are Super Champion Competition. The caliper front brake and the drum rear brake work well. The gear shifter cables are new. The brake lever hoods are worn. This is a rare bike as they do not come up for sale often in the U.S.
