2021 Marin Pine Mountain 2, which I bought new in Nov 2022. The bike shipped well equipped with cromo steel frame, SLX 1x12, Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (4 piston front), alloy double wall 29" wheels.

The following had to go:
-Tires, now set up with Maxxis tubeless
-The fork was an abomination, replaced with a gorgeous plush Marzocchi
-The seat post didn't fit, too long for a medium frame, replaced with offset Thomson

Price $1600 give or take. Options include
-Spesh dropper post (which does fit) never installed
-Shimano 165mm cranks
-Custom Oddity Razorbars (pictured)

I had the handlebars custom made for this bike. Tempted to keep them because they are so awesome but talk to me.

This has gotta be one of the words greatest touring bikes if you're facing rough terrain and need something that will go anywhere. With the new tires and forks it's smooth and handles great. Numerous attachment points for frame bags, racks and gear.

Medium frame for folks 5'6"-5'9". Quite a bit shorter reach than most mountain bikes. For men, you want to be at the lower end of the height range. For a woman, the tall end. (And if you're a tall woman you might REALLY like this frame.)

Very little use, great shape.
