Roll Top Desk, Antique 65" - $1,000 (Venice)

This is a classic roll top desk with all of the desirable features of a true antique. It has hinged sides (Victorian hinges). The side panels could be removed to make it an open working desk. (Of course then you can't use the roll). All drawers are hand dovetailed. Panels are raised. The keyed lock works perfectly. Manufactured by the Somerville Desk Co., Boston, Mass - 1800's. Came out of an old railroad station in Maine. Measurements are: 51" high x 35" deep × 65" long.
