Has been used as wall art for the past dozen or so years. Looks awesome over a fireplace.
The sled still works just fine.
Condition is very good for its 50-year vintage. Metal and wood both show signs of age and use. There is a repair to a side rail, which was screwed and glued long ago. This repair was very successful as it has lasted for about 45 years and is still strong. (See photo.)
