19th century oak rocker attributed to Merklen Brothers having carved shell, stick and ball and banister back details. Exaggerated ball tops, and hand grips finish this Classic architecturally inspired from. Although traditional in overall design, the chair anticipates later Modernist philosophy making it still relevant to todays interiors. Seat H 15 x arm H 26 x Total H 46 inches. This example is in original, untouched condition, clean and ready to use.
