I used to live in Chicago where basements needed sump pumps and dehumidifiers. I always kept a backup sump pump and dehumidifier on hand. I bought this in 2016 as the backup dehumidifier. Then I got transferred to FL before ever opening the box. It is still sealed with original big copper box staples.
It removes 70pints of humidity per day. It has an internal tank and has auto shutoff when the tank gets full. And the best part is that it has an internal garden hose attachment, so you can run a garden hose to a drain and then it can run continuously and never need to empty the tank.
When I bought it it was $249. Looking around the web the closest thing is only 50 pints per day and $250-$325.
