This is a 1st shift position and will report directly to the company President and will be responsible for:
- Overseeing multiple departments: Fabrication, Machining (milling, lathing), and Assembly
- Directing Production Scheduling and Quality
- Overseeing all personnel in a small, NON-UNION, manufacturing facility
- The efficiency of manufacturing and continuous improvement of all company products and processes
- Ensuring that product quality, employee safety, and production deadlines are met.
- Managing employees to optimize productivity, supporting manufacturing practices including the proper use of equipment and materials, promoting training and development, minimizing turnover, and ensuring a reliable and agile labor force.
- Leading both Quality and Safety programs
- Developing and executing the production schedule to support the highest levels of customer service and production efficiency.
- Full accountability for product costs; assessing effectiveness and maximizing productivity opportunities that lead to continuous improvement
- The reporting of finished goods and inventory accuracy
- Conducting time studies and establishing time standards

BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or other related field. Experience in Plant, Reliability or Manufacturing Engineering or Capital Projects. Strong business acumen. Demonstrated strong facilitative and project leadership skills. International travel required (up to 50%).
MUST have a mix of technical understanding of large chemical processing equipment (tanks, valves, mixers, etc) and International Purchasing experience.
Highly visible role to develop a model of low cost country sourcing for the entire corporation utilizing excellent interpersonal skills to interface with internal and external teams.

Can analyze, make cost saving recommendations, implement and show an overall cost reduction on all freight globally.
Understands and keeps up on all aspects of Custom regulations, codes and duties.
Has conducted a full physical inventory, along with regular cycle counts.
Knowledge of UPS and Fedex online shipping software
